I have been spending some time lately reading some friends blogs. Some of them are so cute and a great way to remember all the wonderful moments.
It seems that I have spent too much time trying to make sure to remember all the chores that need to get done, but I want to make sure to capture and remember all that we have been doing. So far I have kept a calendar on the back of Joel's door and I write down little things about his milestones or what we have been up to. Now that he is 11 months, I think I am ready to capture a little bit more.
One post that I read on an old high school friend's blog really gave me the push. She spoke of being a tourist of her life. That sounds odd at first, but she pointed out that a tourist is somebody who sees what is there and finds enjoyment in it.
I want to make sure to remember to be a tourist.
