We had a great week at Edisto Island with Gee Gee, Bobby Daddy, Liz, Paul, Jillian, and Jared!
A house full and plenty to keep up with. Somehow, I thought we would be looking for activites and things to do, but that was not the case. The week just flew by.
We spent time on the beach under the the most amazing tent that Jason made. We also took the Sunfish sail boat and enjoyed some nice sails along the coast.
The main event was the surf. Joel LOVED it. A little too much for my liking. He as not afraid at all. I even let him experience (with close monitoring) getting knocked over by waves. He thought it was great fun and wanted more.
Whenever we went on the beach he headed straight for the water. Now that he is walking so well, he is not at all interested in changing course. He knows where he is headed and has his mind made up.
Jason and Joel and I enjoyed spending one day in Charleston as well.
With all the ocean breeze, salt water, and sun, we all slept great and felt refreshed upon return.
We are going to need it, because the move is likely just days away!
Looks like you guys had great weather for your stay! And awesome tent, by the way - I second that. It's hard to distract Connor as well, when he's got his mind set on something!
